1. Licence

Whery is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of Whery is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula, together with these Terms of Use. Where the two differ on a subject covered here, these Terms apply.

Whery is developed and provided by Fulvio Scichilone. Whery is distributed exclusively through Apple’s App Store, and Apple’s own terms apply to the purchase and delivery of the app.

2. What Whery is

Whery is a native iOS app for recording where you put physical things and finding them again. It works on your device, has no account, and does not rely on a server operated by us. How it handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Free version

Whery can be used free of charge, with usage limits that currently include up to 10 saved things, 3 active AR pins, 3 active reminders and 3 outgoing shares. Every capture mode, every search mode, personal iCloud sync, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts are available in the free version. Limits may change in future releases; a change will never delete or hide content you have already saved.

4. Whery Premium — purchases and subscriptions

Whery Premium removes the free limits and unlocks full write access on Apple Watch. All three options unlock exactly the same features; only duration and price differ.

• Whery Premium Monthly — auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly.
• Whery Premium Annual — auto-renewable subscription, billed annually. Eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial.
• Whery Premium Lifetime — one-time purchase. Not a subscription and does not renew.

The price of each option is shown in the App Store, in your local currency, before you confirm the purchase. The price displayed at the moment of purchase applies.

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the then-current price, unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription for the same content. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged automatically.

Managing and cancelling. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not from inside Whery. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device to change or cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops the next charge; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its own terms at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Restoring purchases. Open the Premium screen in Whery and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Purchases are tied to that Apple Account.

If Premium ends. When a subscription lapses, nothing you saved is deleted or hidden. Your content stays readable, searchable and exportable; only the ability to add beyond the free limits and to write from Apple Watch is paused.

5. Your content

Everything you save in Whery remains yours. We claim no ownership over it and have no access to it. You are responsible for what you record and for what you choose to share or export, including when a shared package describes a home or another private space.

6. Acceptable use

Use Whery lawfully. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or circumvent the purchase and entitlement checks in the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.

7. Availability and changes

Some features depend on hardware and operating system capabilities — for example Apple Intelligence, LiDAR, or a paired Apple Watch — and may be unavailable on your device. Whery may be updated, changed, or discontinued. Material changes to these Terms will be published on this page.

8. Disclaimer

Whery helps you remember where you put things; it does not guarantee that anything will be found. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as is. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer, including under Italian and EU consumer law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
