Install Bun 1.1 or later, then run these commands in your terminal.

The dashboard opens at localhost:4445. Start a Claude Code or Codex session and your heroes appear.

Choose your platform

Manual installation supports macOS, Linux and Windows through WSL2. Codex has been tested on macOS; support on Linux and Windows is not yet verified.

The repository also includes a guided one-line installer and an agentquest command for launching and updating your installation.

FAQ

Before you set off

Does Agent Quest run the agents?

It monitors your existing Claude Code and Codex sessions. Continue using your coding tools as usual; the dashboard reflects their activity.

What do I need?

Bun 1.1 or later and a Claude Code or Codex installation with session logs. Without detected sessions, the dashboard opens but the village stays empty.

Can I view it from another device?

Yes, with optional LAN mode. By default, the servers listen only on localhost. LAN mode makes session details accessible to other people on the same network: enable it only on a trusted network. See the repository for setup details.
