Whery will be available with an interface optimized for iPhone Duo on October 23, 2026, the launch day of Apple’s new foldable iPhone. If you choose iPhone Duo, you will be able to use the app’s new layout from day one. I have been adapting Whery with one clear goal: making it easy to save where you put things and find them again, even as the available screen space changes.
An interface designed for iPhone Duo
A new format is an opportunity to rethink how an app presents information. For Whery, I have worked on the arrangement of content and controls to make use of iPhone Duo’s screen while keeping everyday actions familiar.
The preview shows the main screen, with search, places and recently viewed items, alongside an item’s details. Saved locations, tags, reminders and location history remain at the heart of the experience: useful information to read when you are looking for something, without having to remember where you left it.
Your belongings, with the context you need
Whery started with a familiar situation: you put an object somewhere sensible, then forget where that was when you need it. It might be your bike charger, a box of cables or a document you only use occasionally.
With Whery, you can record an item and its location using text, voice and photos, then search in natural language. Saving “bike charger, behind the desk in the study,” for example, gives you a specific reference to retrieve next time. Augmented reality pins also let you add a visual reference to a saved location.
That is the simplicity I want to bring to iPhone Duo: a personal inventory that is easy to browse, with an interface that adapts to the device.
The work behind the update
I develop Whery myself, and this update focuses on the details of using it on the new iPhone: how information is arranged, how readable the item cards are and where the controls sit. The result is the interface shown in the images on this page.
Whery keeps its integration with the Apple ecosystem, from private iCloud synchronization to access through Siri, Spotlight and widgets. On-device AI and augmented reality tools help you build and explore your inventory; individual features depend on your device and software.
Ready on October 23, from launch day
iPhone Duo preorders in Italy open on October 16, with availability from October 23, 2026. Whery’s optimized support will arrive alongside the device. I have worked on this update to offer the dedicated experience from the very first day.
Start with the next item you put away
You can already discover Whery on your iPhone and start with a few things you often look for. You do not need to organize your whole home: save the next item you put away, add a precise location and you will have a reference when you need it again.
