iPhone Duo preorders open in Italy on October 16, 2026. If you are planning to move to the new foldable iPhone, you can already prepare something useful for everyday life: a personal inventory of your belongings and the places where you left them.
Whery 1.2, released on October 12, already includes the optimized interface for iPhone Duo. The adaptive interface is designed to keep saving and finding an item simple in the new format. The image previews the main screen on the outer display, with iPhone Duo folded.
Version 1.2 has been available since October 12. Read about the changes and watch the video in the Whery 1.2 release announcement.
An iPhone Duo app to get to know before it arrives
When you set up a new phone, some apps are immediate installs. Others earn their place by solving a small everyday problem. Whery was built for one of those problems: remembering where you put an object you do not use every day.
A box of accessories in the garage, your bike charger behind the desk, a document in a drawer. Whery connects each item to the location you record, using text, voice and photos, and lets you search in natural language. You do not need to wait for iPhone Duo: you can create your first entries on your current compatible iPhone.
Three things to save this week
Start with something you have already searched for more than once. Take an old camera cable: give it a recognizable name and record the drawer or box where you keep it. A photo can help you tell it apart from other cables.
Next, add something you only use at certain times of year, such as ski gloves or camping equipment. Finally, choose an item you will want to find before your next trip. Those few entries are enough to try the most useful step: searching for an object and finding the location you saved.
For containers holding several items, see our guide to keeping track of boxes and drawers.
From your current iPhone to iPhone Duo
Whery uses private iCloud synchronization to keep your inventory across your devices. When setting up iPhone Duo, use the same Apple Account and check that your entries have appeared, allowing time for synchronization.
The new interface is designed to adapt to iPhone Duo’s format: search, places and saved items remain your starting points. You can see the images and read about the work in the announcement of Whery optimized for iPhone Duo.
Ready for day one: October 23
The dates follow Apple’s announced schedule for Italy: preorders from October 16 and availability from October 23, 2026. The Whery update is already available to download, with support for the new format ready for the device’s arrival.
In the meantime, discover the app and save your first item. Starting with a few real belongings is the simplest way to build an inventory you will actually use.
Check the App Store for requirements and feature availability on your device.
